Genie Stevens – Executive Director
Genie Stevens has worked in education and theatre direction In Britain, Europe, Germany and the U.S. She founded the Shakespeare Lab at St. John’s College, Santa Fe, NM and currently lives in Santa Fe, with her daughter, Marina, co-founder of the Global Warming Express and their two cats, Puck and Zia. Her mission is to help her daughter and the Global W.E. kids achieve their goal- to end the climate crisis and to build a world that supports the entire web of life.
Anni Hanna – Director, Outreach and Social Media
Anni Hanna is an educator and climate activist in New Mexico. With a Master’s in elementary education, Anni’s passion is to engage youth in creating positive change in their community. Through outreach and organizing events, she supports the youth-centered climate movement, helping to amplify their message and impact. Raising four kids with her husband in Albuquerque, has inspired her to advocate for a healthy, sustainable future for all children.
Ed Quevedo – Program Director
Ed has been on board at GWE for several months, advising them on strategy, board development, fund raising and program enhancement. He is an accomplished academic, international diplomat, and creative advisor to industry, non-profits and communities across the U.S. and abroad. He holds degrees from UCLA and UC Berkeley.

... is a By Kids / For Kids Think Tank Program for kids ages 8-12. The program is designed to be mentored by grownups, but powered by kids, who decide what Small Goals and Big Goals they want to accomplish.
